My name is Laurie Paxinos and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). I received my education from Middlesex County College where I graduated with a 3.8 GPA in May 2010. One of my greatest achievements during my education was maintaining my GPA throughout the years in school which allowed me to receive many scholarship awards. I am proud to be part of the team at Lincroft Village Dental Care, where we share the same philosophies and practices to give the utmost in dental care to our patients.
My past experiences include clinical rotations at the Robert Wood Johnson Dental Clinic in New Brunswick, NJ as well as the VA Hospital in East Orange, NJ. I have volunteered time at Bartley Assisted Living in Jackson, NJ, and have also donated my time to “Give Kids a Smile” Day.
As a Dental Hygienist some of my responsibilities include: taking and interpreting dental radiographs, recognizing and treating periodontal disease, educating my patients on the importance of oral health, and allowing my patients to feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
My license to administer local anesthetics will enable me to help our patients become more comfortable. I take pride in my field of dentistry, and continue to take educational courses to further my knowledge. I am also a certified CPR Health care provider and an active member of the American Dental Hygiene Association.
