My name is Kasia Sznaikart and I am a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). I graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in May of 2008 where I received a student achievement award and graduated with a 3.8 GPA. I was ecstatic to find my dental home at Lincroft Village Dental Care in March 2008 where I am able to practice my philosophy and give optimum dental care to my patients.
My experience as a Dental Hygienist includes 2 years of clinical rotations at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, VA hospital in East Orange, and Special Care Clinic.
I enjoy volunteering and giving back to the community. I have dedicated my time by participating in programs such as “Give Kids a Smile,” “Smiles for Seniors,” and oral cancer screenings. Prior to becoming a Hygienist, I have 10 years of experience as a chair side Dental Assistant.
My responsibilities as a Dental Hygienist include: Educating patients about their oral health, recognizing and treating periodontal disease, taking radiographs and making my patients feel as comfortable as possible.
I take pride in expanding my knowledge in the dental field. Currently I attend continuing education courses and I am an active member in the LVDC Implant Study Group as well as the American Dental Hygiene Association. I have completed the DOCS course, and also am licensed to administer local anesthetics to ensure patients’ comfort, making me one of the first hygienists in New Jersey to receive this training and licensure.
